Episode 79 – The Longest Day

It happened!  And we were giddy with joy.  The Longest Day is one of the most iconic episodes of Dawson’s Creek.  Dawson finds out about the illicit affair between his two besties.  Andie realizes that her first love has truly moved on.  Jack wears the worst shirt in the history of television.  Mitch carries some rope. Everything is on the line here, people!  If you enjoy our long moments of silence as we soak in the goodness, this one will be right up your alley. http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_079-3x20_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Episode 78 – The Unusual Suspects II: Gib Dawson duh fubbn keys ya fubbn cukzugga

Once, long ago, in a more innocent age, one young Dawson Leery and his best friend Pacey Witter made an unholy pact.  A pact that bound them to a task that, should they live long enough to see it through, would require them to join their powers one last time.  Ladies and Gentlemen that day has come.  The Pact must be upheld.  A Senior Prank must be unleashed upon the unsuspecting victims of Capeside High.  Not just any prank will do, it must be huge, it must be elaborate, and it requires a karmic sacrifice.   Drue Valentine, your time has come.  Also, we tell some dick jokes! http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_078-4x08_2.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Episode 77 – Something Wild III: Joey’s Big Night

Listen guys, Joey isn’t just that awkward girl from up the creek with the sketchy family and strokey half smile.  She’s not just a great student and homebody.  She likes to party.  She likes to throw down.  Once in a while when the mood strikes, she likes to… kind of sing in public.  This is a big deal for her.  Yes, for most of us it is a typical Friday night karaoke with the gang from the office, but lets humor her and let her savor this moment. We’ve been to this party many times now folks.  Dawson and Jen are in Capeside exploring their new relationship.  Pacey and Audrey are supporting Joey while she goes wildin’.  And Charlie is here pretending to be impressed so he can get wit dat.  Not the best episode, but at least ya got us! http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_077-5x11_3.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Episode 76 – A Family Way

Lots of good stuff happening in this week’s fourth season episode.  Dawson is gonna be a big brother!  Jack is getting hit on by a soccer mom!  Pacey has a sneaky plan to get some poon-tang, and it’s sending Joey into a panic.  Jen is barely even here, but she does dispense some sage wisdom to get Joey prepared for some porkin’.  This leads her to planned parenthood, which Bessy finds out about, and it’s a whole big thing.  That’s right folks, this week is a #SafeSexyEp! http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_076-4x05_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Episode 74 – Coda

Coda marks the final episode of the last great season of Dawson’s Creek.  Not to say there aren’t good moments afterward, but the magic is never really the same.  This episode could have been a series finale, and perhaps it should have been.  Either way, it’s definitely a wrap up without a lot of meat to chew on.  Dawson is getting ready to leave his creek for Tinseltown.  Joey is Jetting off to Worthington and, perhaps saddest of all, Grams and Jen are packing up the house to move to Boston.  It’s all a little slow and melancholy, but we still love it, and we still find plenty of material to ramble on about like insane idiots.   Theme by Sound of Days http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_074-4x23_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...
