What do you get when you cross 2 middle aged dudes, alcohol, and the penultimate episode of Dawson’s Creek Season 4? This podcast episode! The kids are finally Gradyooatin and dealing with their impending adulthood. Jen & Grams are packing to leave. Jack is admitting he is in an actual relationship. Joey & Dawson are reconciling and doing that DawJo thing they do, Andie returns to walk the stage with her friends, but Pacey has a problem. He has one exam left, and his own insecurities are doing everything they can to keep him from passing. It’s yet another fantastic episode and we enjoy every minute of it. We hope you do too. http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/Cotw_127-4x22_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Another week, another classic 3rd season gem. The Potter B&B is open for business, but nobody is showing up, things start to look desperate enough that Bessie decides to mortgage the house (against Joey’s wishes). Thankfully, Pacey has the bright idea to invite a reknowned B&B critic (?) to come stay and write a review. He also arranges for some fake guests to impress the critic, and give us a chance to cram all the major characters into one location for the episode. What results is some seriously great TV. The only regular cast member not in this episode is Deputy Doug Witter, which is a shame, but someone has to keep the streets of Capeside safe. This is a fantastic episode, with one of the best endings in the show, we hope you enjoy us ruining it with our dumb voices. Guys, the title of this week’s episode is Admissions. Like… school admissions but also admissions of the truth. IT’S A DOUBLE MEANING. So Joey gets into fake-school Worthington while Dawson gets rejected (for some stupid reason) from NYU. Meanwhile Jack and Jen got accepted to whatever schools they wanted, but they have to go together. Pacey, well… poor Pacey didn’t even bother to try. Thus starts our journey. As it unfurls we realize things may not be as easy for the kids as they appear. It’s a good episode, with glimpses of what’s to come and, for some characters, glimpses into the past. Also… Drue’s in it! Theme by Sound of Days. Also as a comparison, here is the sweater Gail wore next to the sweater Andie wore on last week’s episode, Barefoot in Capefest: http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_125-4x17_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Welcome back to Creek of the Week, this week is Capefest, some sort of “palooza” where bands play (though we won’t be witnessing then) and people camp out to watch them. Capeside doesn’t have a McDonalds, but it has a multiple day music festival! Jack uses the festival as an excuse to stalk Ethan and ditch Jen, meanwhile the rest of the cast doesn’t seem to have a clue it is happening, and goes about their normal lives. Dawson talks to a fellow film student, Pacey auditions for the play that Andie happens to be the directors assistant for. No high drama, but lots of fun moments and witty banter make this a solid mid season ep. Lets do this. DEALERS CHOOOOOOOOICE. It happened again, we rolled 130 and got to pick our poison. Being the gentle, caring soul that he is, Eric decided to pick an episode he knew Josh would love to see, and so, Great Expectations became this week’s chosen ep. We knew it was good, but we had forgotten just how good it was. Quick recap. Drue gave Jen some drugs, and rather than flush them or sell them on the Dark Web, she carries them around in her purse, forever tempted to return to the life she had left behind. Andie gets unsurprisingly accepted into Harvard but is surprisingly unphased by it, and looking just to feel some feelings. Dawson is hanging with Gretchen, Pacey and Joey are enjoying being a couple, and Jackers is just happy for his twin sister. Everything is fine right? Enter: The Rave. There’s a rager going down at an abandoned Warehouse, and the Creek Kids all manage to score an invite. From there it is a downward spiral of Drugs, sick beats, and awful dancing. If you have a pacifier, put that thing in your mouth and lets do this. Round 2 of Future Tense, let’s do this! Quick refresher: The question is thick in everyone’s minds… college applications. Andie’s are done, Jack hasn’t started, Dawson is makng a film about it, Pacey is a lost cause, Joey is the 4th smartest girl in Capeside and doesn’t know wtf to do with her future, and Jen is having a birthday party! Drue decides to B&E a beach house and throw a party in Jen’s honor. Everyone shows up to blow off some steam, including one Ms. Potter who gets fairly hammered. Everyone discusses the future and nothing important really happens, but there’s parties and booze and drugs and it’s a good time. A pleasure to watch for the second time. We hope you enjoy it as well. http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_122-4x04_2.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...
