Guys, I think Brett Michaels said it best: “Every rose has it’s thorn. Just like every night has it’s dawn. Just like every whirlwind summer sailing romance has to come back to Capeside and face the ice cold ire of Mr. Dawson Leery. Every rose has it’s thorn… yeah it does.” Something like that. So this is the season premier of the Fourth season of Dawson’s Creek. Pacey and Joey are back in town and everyone has one thing on their minds: Boatsex. Everybody kinda missed Joey, and nobody really seems interested in talking to Pacey, including his family. Speaking of family, Gretchen Witter makes her debut, as well as a couple of french hunks who occupy Andie for the episode. Although it’s a fairly innocuous season premier ep, it’s definitely one of our favorites, so please join us, and sorry about all the hand job jokes. Every great love story has a beginning. Sometimes the lovers don’t even know it’s happening. Sometimes it starts with an aquarium full of dead snails. This is one of those times. This week we are back in Season 1 and it is fantastic. Dawson and Jen just broke up, but Dawson, being a complete creep, can’t handle it and decides to go on a double date with Jen and Cliff. It is, unsurprisingly, a disaster. Meanwhile a school project puts Pacey and Joey alone together for the first time and it was clear even back in ’98 that it wouldn’t be the last. Dawson is in full douche-mode, Pacey has the charm turned up to 11, Jen is poised and radiant, and Joey rolls her eyes and smiles out of the side of her mouth. Also, we get to see a little Mitch-rage. This is why we watch Dawson’s Creek, people. Young Americans has made it’s triumphant return to Creek of the Week! It’s Parents Day at Raleigh and there are secrets to be kept and revealed. Jake’s (or Jacqueline’s) mother is coming, and we finally find out why Jake is performing this gender-bending charade in the first place… for attention! So naturally she has to hide it from her mom. Yeah, it doesn’t make any sense. Meanwhile Scout’s dad is coming as well, and Bella wants to meet him. Does he care to meet his daughter? Notsamuch. Also Will Krudski’s dad is a big jerk but who cares? Also, there’s COTW’s second regatta! The Regatta drought has ended! It hasn’t been that long, but Failing Down is back! Possibly the most important episode of Television ever, it introduces Drue Valentine, misunderstood rich boy with completely unidentifiable character motivations. He spends the episode lying to Joey for no discernible reason, then, just as mysteriously, saves her from being fired. Thus is the enigma that is Drue Valentine. Meanwhile Dawson sulks, Jen gets cyberdumped, and Pacey worries that he may fail his senior year. You guys remember this right? Good, because we spend most of the time ignoring it and babbling endlessly. More importantly, we read lots of email, and our first negative itunes review! Dig it. http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_094-4x02_2.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Season 2 is back baby! It has been ages since we got to sink our beaks into this particular chunk of 90’s nostalgia, but this week we do it with relish. Dawson and Joey are hot and heavy and spending a lot of time at 1st base while having long-winded and verbose discussions about the other places they could go in the ballpark, while never even bothering to lead off the bag a little.(BASEBALL METAPHOR!) Jen decides she wants Dawson back, and with Abby Morgan’s help, will go through no end of humiliation to get him. Andie and Pacey bicker adorkably. And Jack learns how to mop! If you like teens talkin’ bout sex, this episode of Dawson’s Creek is for you. And if you like middle aged men talking about teens talking about sex, then this episode of Creek of the Week is for you. http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_093-2x03_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

It only took 92 rolls of the dice, but that bad boy finally came up snake… eye… and it’s Pilot time! Everyone has seen this one a thousand times. It sets the stage for the greatest story ever told. There’s no need to recap it… so here we go. Dawson + Joey = Best Friends. Dawson + Pacey = Slightly less best friends. Joey + Pacey = Sworn enemies with obvious sexual tension. Then Jen shows up and throws that simple equation out the window. Dawson is smitten, Joey is Jelly, and Pacey is distracted by the hot older lady with a taste for young boy-flesh. The Dawson’s Creek Pilot is like coming home for Christmas, curling up in your old bed with a cup of coco, and pleasuring yourself to old episodes of Baywatch you recorded on VHS when you were 11 years old. In other words: #Bliss. http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_092-1x01_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...
