Episode 91 – Indian Summer the 2nd

Eve is back, and so are we on these hot Summer nights.  The ep starts with Dawson witnessing Eve breaking into Grams’ house, and it goes from there as Dawson stalks Eve across Capeside and finally confronts her to find out just what her deal is.  Jack tries to do Jen a favor and set her up with little baby boy Henry, which does not go well.  Also, Joey deals with her douchebag boss, who happens to be going on a date with the lovely Andie McPhee.  There are a lot of bared midriffs, a lot of sweaty boys, and a lot of Dougie Witter, so it has to be a #SexyEp.  Let us walk you through it, won’t you? http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_091-3x05_2.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Episode 90 – Anti Prom part Deux

Episode 90 is upon us!  And what a better way to ring in this milestone than with a second viewing of one of our season 3 favorites: The Anti Prom.  This episode does not disappoint, even in reruns.  You may recall that Jack wants to bring a boy to the prom, and that Evangelical Christian Right Wing Fascist Barbara Johns says he can’t do it.  That’s when Dawson swoops in, armor glistening in the lunch room florescents, shield held high to save his beloved friend Jack… or maybe just to form an elaborate scheme to claim Joey before Pacey can.  So Dawson throws his own prom at Leery’s Fresh Fish, and everyone is there, although many of them are with the wrong dates.  You know what happens next, Andie cries, Joey pines, Henry cockblocks himself, and Pacey. Remembers. Everything. Theme by Sound of Days   http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_090-3x22_2.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Episode 89 – Northern Lights Vol. 2

If you’ve listened to Creek of the Week, you know how much we love Joey’s short-lived Season 3 lover, A.J.  So naturally we had to revisit their first date, and revel in all his smooth college freshman lines that he lays on the unsuspecting high school kid that he has convinced himself he is old enough to date.  So what if she can’t vote yet?  She’s hot, and she’s totally buying his schtick.   Meanwhile, our hero Pacey is freaking out, trying to perform a classic piece of American art, while worrying that the young Ms. Potter is being roofied in some Boston frat house.  Tough times for Pace, but he pulls it off, because he’s a Boss and that’s what Bosses do.  He also has a little help from his ex, Andie McPhee who is running the theater show.  Henry shows up and makes a scene, embarrassing Jennifer “The Pretty” of House Lindley, First in her Parent’s Bed, Queen of New York, Capeside, and Boston College, The Unturnt, Breaker of Hearts, Grand daughter of La Abuelita, and Kahleesi of Dawson’s Virginity.  It’s a fun rewatch, join us won’t you? Ep 88 – Dealer’s Choice!

That’s right, Creek of the Weeksters, the magic finally happened.  We rolled 130 and yours truly got to choose his episode.  I don’t want to spoil it, because where is the fun in that?  Needless to say, this week’s episode is one of the classics, and we thoroughly enjoy every minute.  Not much else to write up, just dive in and enjoy! http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_088-6x15_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...

Episode 87 – Stolen Kisses

Stolen kisses.  So much snogging, so many tumblr moments, so much P-Jo goodness, it almost hurts to cross it off our list, the anticipation of rolling an episode like this is nearly as sweet as actually getting to watch it, but not quite.  If you’ll recall this episode, Pacey and Joey are circling each other like a couple of hounds in heat, their feelings are out in the open, but both are afraid to fully commit.  Along comes Aunt Gwen and invites the kids up to her romantic cabin for a getaway, and that is all the catalyst the two lovebirds need to finally realize that nature cannot be denied.  Also Dawson is having his 30th mid life crisis and Andie is doing some dumb thing or other, but WHO CARES!?  All eyes are on P.J.  Lets do this. Episode 86 – Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner

Finally we roll up another early season 3 episode which is uncharted waters for our podcast.  The episode happens on Thanksgiving, and everyone ends up at Gram’s house, because she’s the only one competent enough to cook a turkey.  This is one of the rare Jen-centric episodes, and frankly, there should have been more.  Jen’s mother is coming to dinner, and it’s thrown her whole world off-kilter.  The rest of the kreek-krew mainly just hangs out and supports the Jen story.  Big D struggles with the knowledge that Jen has a sister, Pacey offers Jen his support, as he does.  Joey ONCE AGAIN reminds everyone that her mother died, and the McPhee twins just kinda chill in the background.  Michelle Williams is great, Mary Beth Peil is great.  And we, your hosts, are great…FUL for Dawson’s Creek.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!   Theme by Sound of Days. http://media.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/p/content.blubrry.com/creekoftheweek/CotW_086-3x08_1.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe:...
